As entrepreneurs and leaders, we spend so much of our lives building businesses, serving others, solving problems, and chasing goals.

But this Motherโ€™s Day, my favorite gift as a GiGi was a powerful reminder of what truly matters.

The little moments.
The firsts.
The laughter.
The tiny hands holding mine.

Because success means very little if we donโ€™t have people to share it with.

One of the greatest lessons leadership teaches us is this:
You can build a successful business and still protect space for the moments that fill your heart.

This season of life has reminded me that relationships will always be the real legacy.

Still smiling from an unforgettable day at the Top 100 St. Louisans You Should Know.

There is something powerful about being in a room filled with people who are not just successfulโ€ฆ but are making a real impact.

I was especially proud to celebrate my friend Kelli Risse. Watching her be recognized for who she is and the difference she makesโ€ฆ that never gets old.

And seeing so many incredible people I admire and respect also being recognized:
Bing Dempewolf, Sally Drake, Dan Iadvito, and Meโ€™Shel Riedel

Moments like this remind me how important it is to surround yourself with people who are building, leading, and lifting others along the way.

And just when I thought the event couldnโ€™t get any betterโ€ฆ watching my friend Melisa Range walk on glassโ€ฆ

That was the icing on the cake.
