This is how I breakdown a podcast.
Consider a funnel.
At the top we have the short form (Shorts, reels, TikToks, etc.).
This is for reach, eyeballs, overall general brand awareness, and vague familiarity.
Then we have the medium clips. These could be anywhere from a couple minutes long to generally up to 20 minutes.
These are to be digestible, gain a much clearer understanding of what your show is about, and let people tip their toes in the water before fully diving in.
And then finally comes the full episode. This is where we are getting buy in, building trust, and developing relationships that go far beyond the internet.
