Have you been impacted by the recent rate hikes since FPL took over Gulf Power in January 2022?? If so we ask everyone to 𝗝𝗢𝗜𝗡 COOP Initiative of Northwest Florida 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝟱𝗽𝗺. There will be a City Council meeting at 6pm. The people are demanding 2 things...
1. An immediate rollback to GP rates and a FREEZE on any utility shut-offs until...
2. An IMMEDIATE investigation into what is actually happening and why people are seeing such HUGE increases and usage swings.
𝗙𝗣𝗟 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗮 𝗡𝗘𝗧 𝗜𝗡𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗘 𝗼𝗳 𝟮.𝟵𝟯𝟱 𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗶𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟭 (Net income is the amount of accounting profit a company has left over after paying off all its expenses.)... so we would argue they don't NEED A RATE HIKE AT ALL!! It's time to get to the bottom of how this was allowed to happen.
