🐾 Pet-Inspired Logos 🐾
We love when clients ask us to incorporate their beloved pets into their logos—it just makes sense! Your business should reflect your passions, and for many, that includes their four-legged family members.
Here are three memorable pet-inspired logos that Kara had the pleasure of designing:
✨ Black River Shepherds – A youth athletics charity in South Carolina, dedicated to bringing sports to underserved communities. Their mascot? A proud shepherd, just like in their name!
🚛 Stardog Logistics – A trucking company that wanted to honor their loyal Blue Heeler, who always rode shotgun on deliveries.
🪵 The Wooden Collie – A woodworking business named after a dear friend’s Border Collie, Molly. She burned our logo into a wooden plaque, which now hangs in our Sterling office!

🍾 Misty Mountain Meadworks 🐝
You’ll hear us talk a lot about the friends we’ve made during our journey into making our own graphic design company. But we’ve had a few that have been there since the beginning. I’ve known Richard and Margie since Middle School and spent much of my free time at their house. They brought me into their medieval world, everything teaching me how to play D&D to showing me the pros and cons of the halberd that hung in their garage, and ultimately what goes into making mead including bottling, corking and affixing labels.
Rick is a true master of his craft, now operating the oldest Meadery in Virginia. When he heard Kara could make labels, he didn’t bat an eye to jump in a support us on our new endeavor. She has been making his labels ever since.

From a Facebook Group to a Community Force for Good
What started as a simple idea—a Facebook group called The Real Husbands of Loudoun County—quickly became something much more. Designed as a space for men to share humor, encouragement, business advice, and camaraderie, RHOLC has grown into a thriving community.

Today, it stands as a fully established 501(c)(3) nonprofit, making a meaningful impact by supporting veterans, first responders, and fundraising efforts throughout Loudoun County, VA.
