The weather is extremely fickle at this time of year. Earlier in the day it was showing a low to small chance of rain and now has significantly increased to large storms. Out of an abundance of caution, we have selected to cancel Third Thursday activities for Thursday, June 18, 2026. See you all next month!

Hutchinson Square is so much more than just a beautiful park in the center of our town: it truly is the heart of Summerville where our community’s story has been unfolding for generations. 🌳✨

Whether you’re here for a weekend event, grabbing a coffee nearby, or just taking a quiet stroll under the trees, you can feel the history in every corner. For our Thursday History & Heritage series, we’re looking back at how this space has evolved from the town’s early days into the vibrant gathering spot we all love today. It’s a place where neighbors meet, families play, and our local heritage is kept alive.

What’s your favorite memory at Hutchinson Square? Is it a specific event, a quiet morning, or maybe just the way the lights look in the evening? We’d love to hear your stories in the comments!

Help Us Share the Gift of Milk

Tomorrow, Thursday, June 18, we hope to send every family attending our Katie's Krops Dinner home with a half-gallon of milk—a simple gift that provides nourishment, comfort, and support.

To make this possible, we need more than 180 half-gallons of milk to fill our coolers.

If you're able, please pick up an extra half-gallon (or a few!) and drop it off between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 18, in the cooler outside the Fellowship Hall at Summerville Baptist Church (417 Central Avenue, Summerville).

Your small act of kindness can make a meaningful difference for families in our community. Thank you for helping us share love, one gallon at a time.
