💜 November Is Epilepsy Awareness Month 💜

This month, we’re showing support for everyone living with epilepsy and their families. Whether you’ve experienced seizures firsthand or know someone who has, your story matters — and awareness starts with conversations like these.

🧠 What Is Epilepsy Awareness Month?

Epilepsy Awareness Month, recognized every November, is dedicated to spreading understanding and reducing stigma around epilepsy — a neurological condition that affects the brain and causes recurring seizures. More than 3.4 million Americans live with epilepsy, and each person’s experience can look very different.

Awareness helps encourage early diagnosis, better treatment options, and compassion for those navigating daily challenges. The color purple represents epilepsy awareness — a reminder of courage, hope, and unity. 💜

If you’d like to get involved, you can:
• Wear purple throughout the month to show support
• Share your story or facts about epilepsy online
• Encourage others to learn more through trusted organizations like the Epilepsy Foundation

Together, we can make a difference — one conversation, one photo, and one act of kindness at a time. 💜
