Check our website. Thanks for stopping in! Who is Ma Brown? Ma Brown is my mother who was a coal miner’s daughter in the mid-west. She grew up learning how to put just about anything to good use. Because of her upbringing and a very creative mindset, she was able to construct nearly anything out of scraps and salvage items. She always used flour sack towels, and transformed items into something else. I carry on the tradition in honor and in memory of my Mom. And, Yes, her maiden name was Brown. :-)

What I do
Currently, I am offering embroidery, monograms, and sewing services on select items. Flour Sack towels are are how I got started and they are still available, however, embroidery designs can be placed on virtually anything. There are copyright laws and I DO honor them as a responsible professional. I can not embroider and then sell NFL teams, Colleges, NASCAR teams, NBA, MLB, Disney, Maxine, or any other brand protected under copyright law. (Buying and using the fabric has a different set of rules.) If you do see those embroidery designs offered by others, chances are, they do have possession of the embroidery design itself, but it should not be stitched and then sold on anything. This includes towels, aprons, shirts, hats, etc. Thanks for your understanding.
