I’m back! I have been off of social media for my business since March. After the world shut down, I had to pull back on business quite a bit to take on more at home, as I’m sure many others did. But I feel like I’ve got a handle on our new rhythms of life around here and will be back!
In the last 10 months, I have become a traditional homeschool teacher, even more of a home-cooking mama than I was before, and a manager of all of the new things in our lives. We also held a virtual baby shower for my sister and welcomed, from a distance at first, our my new nephew.
This summer, we adopted a rescue dog with an unknown past who had very recently had a front leg amputated. That’s been quite the adventure! He has been with us about 6 months now and is doing really well, but still isn’t quite used to being in a totally safe space.
Business-wise, I stuck to keeping my current clients happy and that’s all I had the bandwidth for!
This time has taught me quite a lot, but the things that has stood out most is that I cannot do “all the things" for “all the people", and that has been a hard pill to swallow! I have had to rethink my business a bit, and I have decided to try and incorporate more offers that can help many people at one time, rather than so much 1:1 consulting and services.
So stay tuned for some exciting things! I will also be asking some questions to see how I can serve you guys best. Please share these questions with your friends, as I would really like to help more people get their businesses on the right page, whether it’s with branding, social media, websites, SEO, or marketing in general. I would LOVE to hear what you’re working on, what has been happening in your businesses, and where you’re headed in the new year!
Thanks so much for sticking around. I hope 2020 treated you all well, here’s to a better 2021! (Let’s pray the first week isn’t an indication of the rest!)
