The new brand behind Elsye J Photography ✨🌸

In the past 8 years of building this business, I’ve tried so hard to be like other photographers. Neutral graphics, thin serif typefaces. Minimalistic. Restrained. And as much as I’ve tried to fit in the box of luxury photography branding, it just never quite felt like me.

Until now.

After nearly 6 months of brainstorming, planning, and designing, the new Elsye J Photography brand standards are here. I wanted to pay homage to my favorite parts of Midwest summers - ice cream stands, rolling hills of corn fields, and county fairs…while also honoring the time of my life spent in the American Southwest.

Bold colors, warm summers, and Midwest golden hour hues are here. This is the new Elsye J Photography, and I’m so excited to share it with you 💕📸

I spend so many summer evenings driving home and watching the sunset and thinking “wow tonight would have been perfect for a senior session”. Summer months are amazing for senior photos for a number of reasons: nature is lush & green, sunsets are so colorful and late in the evening, and there’s so much more availability (and you get your photos back faster) 👀
Waiting on that perfect fall color is a gamble..it’s hard to predict exactly when the leaves will fully turn (and it could be chilly outside)🍂 Considering booking your photo session before the start of senior year? Sign me up! 💛📸
