Quick question for our small business and marketing friends:

Have you started thinking about how AI tools are changing the way people find your website?

We’ve been digging into website analytics lately and noticing that some “behind the scenes” changes are already affecting how traffic shows up. It’s not that people aren’t finding sites. It’s that the path looks different than it used to.

I’m starting to set up a simple baseline now, so I have something to compare against later as things keep evolving.

Sharing this in case it’s helpful, and curious if anyone else is noticing similar shifts or starting to think about this too.

Did you see the news? Facebook is actively rolling out new limits on how often some accounts can share links in organic posts. Business pages and professional profiles appear to be capped at a small number of link posts per month unless the account is Meta Verified. Reports and screenshots are coming in from multiple countries with different start dates.

Why this matters.

Facebook has deprioritized link posts for years to keep users on the platform. This move makes that strategy explicit and ties link sharing to a paid subscription.

What we are watching.

• Which account types are consistently affected
• Whether links in comments remain clickable on your own posts
• How this impacts small businesses that rely on organic reach

This is not a reason to panic, but it is a clear signal. Leading with value and native content matters more than ever. Links are becoming secondary, not the hook.

Things we're noticing in the social media content space.

1. Reels perform better than stories.
2. Stories perform better than posts.
3. Given the shelf life of stories it isn't wise to abandon posts.

Share reels, stories, and posts on a consistent basis for optimum results.

Q: I'm an interior designer. Should I put my logo on my car? Does that work?
A: We put our logo on our vehicle several months ago. Not once did a client say "I saw you driving around." No one has stopped in a parking lot to say "Hey I need a marketing company." In your case, if you're driving to the home or business of a client you may want to put your logo on your vehicle to help give your client confidence. Does it work for generating new business? Probably not but we'll say this much...walking up to our car and seeing our logo sure makes us smile. We don't regret it one bit. We hope your logo makes you smile too.
