New Logo design coming in HOT 🔥🥵

➡️Here is a logo redesign I did for a friend of mine and his marketing agency 🤗

came to me with a rough draft of his logo and asked me to take his idea and bring it to life💡✨.

One of the main focuses for this design was to target their modern, upbeat, and trendy clients and audience🤩. With a focus on simplicity and cleanliness, we wanted the logo to be only typography-based. We explored a variety of typefaces and I worked on manipulating many, many different fonts😅... which ultimately, lead us to this final design🤩.

Overall, I would have to say I am pretty proud of the end result of this logo redesign😊. 🔜Check my story later on for the before and after!

Please ignore the fact that I am posting a FALL mood-board on December 1st🤦🏽‍♀️. (I swear this was not intentional😅)

But anyway…here is a new mood board design that I did did for a fun & quick design challenge. With work, client work, and everything else going on in life, I don't leave myself much time to just CREATE🥲. So, here's the result of me doing just that: creating, to create ❤️🎨

Since it's the last day of November, and because I continue to forget to post these🤦🏽‍♀️...what better day to (finally) share my fall color-exploration project🍁🤗.

This month I wanted to do some passion-project work and just create something random and fun outside of my work & client work☺️. I didn't have too much time to spend on this, so I decided to do something quick that I love to design. Which for me, it's a mood board for sure✨.

I gathered some inspiration and searched through Pinterest, and found myself with this great fall color palette to inspire the project🤩🎨.

Some Retro/Groovy Fonts for your next project🤗

I recently finished up with a logo re-design for a digital marketing and branding agency here in Tampa🌴 (post coming soon☺️). Throughout that design process, we explored A TON of different fonts and styles to determine what font best represented their brand.✨

…As a result, I mayyyy have collected an insane amount of new fonts 😏. Sooooo today I wanted to share the love and show you all a few of my new favs 🤩.

Good Morning & Happy Monday!!🌞

STORY TIME📚🤗

About 2 months ago I announced that I had quit my job and was going full-time freelance…🙈

Well let me tell you a little secret🤫, that was NOT the plan❌. I had no intention to make this abrupt job change... but life happens🤷🏽‍♀️, contracts fall through😅, and the only choice I found myself having was to put my head down and make it happen for myself🙇🏽‍♀️.

Now let me tell you, those 1-2 months of being full-time freelance, I was GRINDING👏🏼. From upping my game on social, taking on new clients and projects, and frantically applying to new jobs and opportunities😅, I was determined to make it work💪🏼.

I loved the freedom & lifestyle of being my own boss and choosing my own work & schedule, BUT to be 100% honest, it was also a stressful, scary, and crazyyy ass time😅🙃.

Although I WAS making it work and I was pretty damn successful with my efforts...when a full-time job offer came through, I was RELIEVED to say the least. Not to mention, this new position is at the university that I graduated from, & it is really the perfect position for me right now🙌🏼. So, I obviously accepted☺️.

I'm definitely a bit sad to see this full-time freelance thing come to a pause⏸, but also super excited for this new chapter🙌🏼🥰

✨REMINDER: Live Your Damn Life ✨

This past week has been beyond refreshing for me 🍃. Taking a step back from my day-to-day routine and just letting go was exactly what I needed🤗.

Not only was it nice to be on vacation & chill, but I got to do it in the best setting 🏕 & with the best people ❤️.

Sometimes I find myself getting so caught up in the grind that I forget what’s truly important😅: LIVING YOUR LIFE🙈

➡️ So here’s your reminder to book that trip, go to that music festival, make those plans, buy that outfit, and give yourself a damn break🙌🏼🥰.

It's Vacation time for me🙌🏼!!!

This weekend my friends and I are headed to📍Ohio for Lost Lands Music Festival⛺️! I will be camping all weekend and basically off-the-grid, so it's probably safe to say that I won't be posting/ working/ or responding to any new inquiries at this time😅.

➡️ I'll be using this time to relax, detach from work, hang out with my friends, and obviously, dance the weekend away💃🏽.

I will be off starting tomorrow, and will return Tuesday the 28th📆. See ya then🤗!

Today I wanted to share a bit about my process for taking on new clients and how I begin each project🤗.

This has taken me quite a bit of time to perfect🙈, but now that I have this process established, my client on-boarding process has been super smooth and painless🙌🏼. Here's how my process works:

1️⃣: Fill out my Brand Inquiry Form!
✨Each project begins with the client showing their interest by filling out my brand inquiry form (link in bio).

2️⃣: Email Communication & Questionnaire #2
✨Then I will communicate with the client via email, as well as gather more information about their company, target audience, goals, and brand strategy with a second questionnaire.

3️⃣: Project Proposal and Brief.
✨Once I have enough information, I then will send over a project proposal. This includes a breakdown of how the project will run, a general timeline, payment breakdown, quote for deliverables, and design contract

4️⃣: 50 % down payment
✨After the proposal is approved, then I await the fist payment which is 50% of the project total.

5️⃣: Design Process begins!
✨Once I have received that payment, I then begin the design process immediately!

Here’s a little file format cheat-cheat for my clients and fellow designers out there🤗.

As I’m sure I am not alone👀, understanding the different file types and what they do can be quite overwhelming😅.

For business owners, these are the files you will NEED. When looking for a designer, definitely ensure that you will receive your design in ALL of these formats… or….you may run into some major issues down the road 😬(like being unable to edit, print, use with transparent background, etc.)🙈

To make sure my clients are well prepared to use their designs on any and all platforms, these are the files I provide them with:
