Check out this momma mangrove and all of her unborn children! 🌳✨

Mangroves are true heroes here in Florida but that’s not even the coolest thing about them. These trees give LIVE BIRTH, yeah like humans and other mammals… The propagules you can see hanging off of mangrove trees are fully germinated seedlings, ready to be planted and grow into mature mangroves of their own!

Paddling is my favorite way to explore the mangrove forests and seeing such a thriving ecosystem today was so special! 🌊✨🧜🏼‍♀️🏝️💚

🦀✨ Tidal Tours and Baby Horseshoe Crab Season are in FULL SWING!

As someone who grew up here, getting outside and connecting with wild Florida spaces is the best way to fall in love with Florida! While we may not get all four seasons, we get access to so many amazing ecosystems and the wildlife diversity here is incredible!

The launch weekend of Tidal Tours was such a dream come true!! 🧜🏼‍♀️✨

I have been working for so long to get this program up and running and seeing it come to life was so special! Thank you to everyone who came out for a tour and spent time exploring with me at my “secret beach”. We were able to observe over a dozen invertebrate species out in the mudflats including some I had never found out there before!
