My relationship with God hasnt always been on the best terms. I struggled for years with depression which ultimately led to a su***de attempt that left me questioning how God can love someone as low as myself.

I blamed him for all the wrongs and didnt understand how to take accountability for my life. I acknowledged there was a God, I acknowledged that Jesus died for some of us but the rest were left with the evil of our own minds.

Then on a day I was not looking for God, he sent me the power of his love. I shook off the weight of my worries and I placed them in Jesus hands.

Mathew 6:11
6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. 7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

8 Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. 9 Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.

10 And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. 11 To him be the power for ever and ever. Amen.

Powerful tribute I was trusted to do for my friend. I couldnt be happier then I was to share the moment with him when he saw it finished for the first time. Its moments like that, that made me thankful I didnt give up on myself throughout the year. Chris you have an amazing brother and I know hes made you proud continuing on your legacy. Thank you for guiding my brushes and helping me deliver something beautiful for your family 🙏🏽
