YARDIESSSS! 💜

I’ve had several people reach out today! My neighbors are sending people my way, repeat clients are getting signs on the books for their kiddos, NEW Yardies have joined me today, and special orders are going in! 🥹💜

And I’m still over here doing all of this while working 45+ hours a week at my full-time job! 🤪 Somehow, we make it work!

But if you’ve been wondering where I’ve been or what I’ve been doing when I’m a little quieter over here…

YARDIESSSS! 💜🤣

Today started out SO NORMAL.

I got up, went out, and staked a yard card for a VERY special girl! 💜🥳 Had that baby staked and ready to go by 10:30 AM!

Just out here doing what speaks to my soul. Being creative. Spreading joy. Making people smile. 🥹💜

AND THEN…

Wanna guess what I spent the REST of my day doing?! 🤣🤣

And y’all KNOW I love this game. GUESS! It’s no fun if you don’t guess!

But there is literally a ZERO PERCENT CHANCE any of you would guess this sh*t…

And I mean S**T. LITERALLY. 💩🤣

I HELPED REPLACE MY FREAKING SEWER LINE.

SEVENTY. FIVE. FEET. OF. SEWER. LINE. 😳💩

WHO AM I?! 🤣🤣🤣

11:00 AM: ✨Bob the Freaking Builder: S**t Pipe Edition✨

Now, normally, Mama does NOT participate in these kinds of household activities. 😂 That is definitely my husband's department. BUT since he recently got his ICD, there are some things he just can't do right now.

So who do you call?!

PAP! AKA my Dad! 🤣

Ole “Pap,” as our son so lovingly calls him, has ALL THE THINGS. Seriously. Need a tool? Pap's got it. Need a piece of equipment? Pap probably has that too. Need 75 freaking feet of sewer line replaced?!

PAP'S YOUR GUY. 😂👏

Did I physically dig the giant trench? ABSOLUTELY NOT. Let's not get carried away here. 🤣 Pap did ALL the heavy work.

BUT WAS MAMA DOWN IN THAT HOLE?!

YOU BET I WAS. 😂💩

I helped glue pipe. I made the Menards run. I got lunch—arguably the MOST important job. 🤷‍♀️🤣 And I helped rake backfilled dirt when we were done!

Here's some useless knowledge about me: I've been on construction sites my ENTIRE life. So while you normally see me with signs… Mama knows a thing or two about getting dirty too. 🤣

Jamie attends the same daycare as my son. This sweet little guy is only five months old. FIVE months. My daughter is only two months older than he is, and I can't even begin to imagine what this family has been through—or what they will continue to face.

As a mama, my heart absolutely breaks for them.

I've seen this community do incredible things when someone is in need, and I'm hoping we can do it again.

These sweet little girls celebrated their birthdays in a BIG way! 🎉 Their parents hosted 21 kids... TWENTY-ONE! 🤯🤣 Y'all are some brave people!

Their mama is truly one of the sweetest women I've ever met, and these birthday girls couldn't be more different if they tried! 🦖🦄

Miss Peyton chose all things DINOSAURS 🦕 while Miss Addison was all about the UNICORNS 🦄✨. I absolutely love seeing their unique little personalities shine!

We've been helping these little birthday twins celebrate for years, and it means so much that their Mama's keeps coming back to us year after year! 🥹

One of my favorite parts of this job is watching these kiddos grow and seeing how their interests change from one birthday to the next. From favorite characters to new hobbies, every sign tells a little piece of their story.
