Celebrating Women’s History Month: Meet Eboni McKinley & Our Sister’s Keeper
March is a time to honor the resilience, strength, and leadership of women who are transforming their communities. 💜✨
Meet Eboni McKinley, the powerhouse founder of Our Sister’s Keeper—a nonprofit dedicated to empowering marginalized women in Marin County through sisterhood, healing, and opportunity.
Eboni's journey is one of resilience and purpose. Growing up, she witnessed her mother struggle with undiagnosed bipolar disorder without the support system she desperately needed. Reflecting on this, Eboni shared: "Had my mother had a women’s support group—a sisterhood of women to uplift her—it might have changed the trajectory of her life."
Determined to break the cycle, Eboni built Our Sister’s Keeper to provide the healing and community that too many women lack. Through support circles, art therapy, job readiness programs, and mentorship, she’s creating a powerful network of women uplifting women. 💪
Join us in celebrating this incredible work at the 1st Annual Our Sister’s Keeper Gala on March 15th at Embassy Suites in San Rafael!
