Google made AI mandatory. Apple users fled to DuckDuckGo 70%.

Last week Google replaced its search results with AI answers.

There was no button to turn it off.

DuckDuckGo installs jumped 18% in six days.

Its AI-free page saw traffic climb 23% as people looked for an exit.

If you wanted plain search, Google just took that choice away.
