We stopped by the ribbon cutting earlier this week for Melanie’s Sweet Confections—and there’s something different about this place.

Melanie isn’t just baking desserts… she’s bringing a European-style bakery and lunch experience into Tooele, with a big focus on homemade, fresh, and quality ingredients.

They’ll be serving made-to-order lunch items like:
• French baguette sandwiches (ham & brie, French dip, tuna, and more)
• Croque Monsieur on sourdough
• Chicken croissants
• Fresh soups made throughout the week
• Vegan & vegetarian options available

Everything is built around homemade bread, real ingredients, and intentional recipes—you can tell they actually care about what they’re putting out.

On top of that, they’re creating space for other local bakers to be part of it too, which is awesome to see.

🌸 And coming up:
They’re kicking off their first Sunday brunch on Mother’s Day, featuring drinks, brunch dishes, and desserts—so if you’re planning something for that day, this might be worth looking into.

It’s always cool seeing a local business grow into something like this. Definitely one to keep an eye on.

Stopped by Denny’s today to check out their recent remodel and it looks great.

They’ve updated the inside and it feels way more modern and comfortable. Service was quick, food came out fast, and overall just a really solid experience.

It’s always good seeing local spots invest back into their space and keep things fresh for the community.

Beans & Brews by Smith’s is officially OPEN! ☕️✂️

Just stopped by for their ribbon cutting and it’s awesome to see more growth happening right here in our community. New businesses, new energy, and more reasons to get out and support local.
