The Tuskegee Airmen Heritage Chapter of Greater Sacramento will return again to the Truckee Tahoe Air Show! Air Show is SATURDAY, JUNE 24, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Register online for Free Admission and Free Parking.

NOTE: Chapter members offer History presentations to groups of all ages and at schools about the difficulties and contributions of the first black military aviators and their fight, vision, and hopes for the future. ***Heritage members are the direct descendants of Documented Original Tuskegee Airmen (DOTA). ***

The Sierra Buttes Trails Stewardship is embarking on a Trails Master Plan to connect communities in the Lost Sierra. See below to read more. What a great project!

The Lost Sierra Trail route "will eventually link over 600-miles of multi-use trail traversing over breathtaking topography, jagged peaks, and high alpine meadows similar to the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) and the John Muir Trail (JMT).
