That’s why we’re proud to support the International Day of Light alongside Optics Valley, SPIE, the University of Arizona, and Flandrau Science Center & Planetarium.
This year’s celebration includes:

• 10+ hands-on demo tables showcasing optics and photonics in action
• Interactive experiences designed to spark curiosity, wonder, and awe across all ages
For students, discovery often starts with seeing something extraordinary and wanting to understand how it works.
For educators, families, and the broader community, this event connects science and technology to experiences that are tangible, engaging, and memorable.
It’s also a reminder of how much innovation is happening just below the surface of everyday life—and why building awareness today helps strengthen the future talent pipeline.
