"What Must the Remnant of the Most High Endure in This Fallen World?" Guided Glory Global Services

brothers and sisters in the , gathered under the banner of the ,
In these turbulent days, when the foundations of society seem to shake and the shadows lengthen across the earth, the question echoes through the hearts of the faithful: What must the Remnant endure? 🤔

You are that faithful minority—the ones who refuse to bow to the idols of this age. You are the seed of the woman in , those who keep the and hold the of (Revelation 12:17).

The Most High has always preserved a remnant. In the , amid the wilderness wanderings and cycles of rebellion, He spoke through Moses and the of a faithful core who would not forsake the covenant (Deuteronomy 4:29-31; Isaiah 10:20-22). 📜

Elijah cried out in despair, believing he alone remained, yet the Lord revealed seven thousand who had not bowed the knee to Baal (1 Kings 19; Romans 11:2-5). 📜

Even in preserved outside the standard —echoes in writings like those of the prophets and intertestamental reflections—the pattern holds: in times of widespread apostasy, a purified remnant clings to truth.

Today is no different. We live in a fallen world groaning under the weight of (Romans 8:22). 📜

The Remnant must endure, not as victims, but as victorious in active faith. Let us examine what this endurance requires, grounded in Scripture, and how it calls us to stand firm now.

The Realities of Endurance in a Fallen World

1. Spiritual Warfare and Opposition from Darkness
Our struggle is not merely against flesh and blood, but against rulers, authorities, powers of this dark world, and spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:10-12). 📜

The dragon is wroth with the woman’s offspring (Revelation 12:17). 📜

In our time, this as cultural rejection of the Most High, deceptive philosophies, and subtle erosions of truth through media, institutions, and ideologies that exalt self over the . The enemy prowls like a roaring lion (1 Peter 5:8). 📜

Yet the Remnant is called to put on the full armor of God—truth, , faith, , the Word, and .

2. Persecution and Marginalization

“Everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted” (2 Timothy 3:12). 📜

today face hatred, cancellation, legal pressures, and social exclusion for upholding biblical morality. From subtle disdain in professional circles to outright violence in many nations, the cost of obedience is real.

warned: “You will be hated by all nations because of me” (Matthew 24:9). 📜

The Torah reminds us that God’s people were often strangers and sojourners; so are we now (Exodus 22:21; 1 Peter 2:11). 📜

3. Living Amidst Worldly Sin, , and Deception

Widespread unrighteousness surrounds us—moral decay, falsehood in high places, injustice that mocks the vulnerable. The world calls evil good and good evil (Isaiah 5:20). False gospels and compromised teachings proliferate. The Remnant must navigate this without being conformed (Romans 12:2), preserving the pure truth of Scripture against dilutions.

4. Sorrow, Loss, and the Decay of a Futile World

Heartbreak is inevitable: broken families, physical suffering, the futility under the sun (Ecclesiastes). We witness the natural consequences of sin—wars, famines, moral collapse (Matthew 24:6-8). Ancient prophetic voices and removed texts echo this groaning creation awaiting . Yet we do not sorrow as those without hope.

The Call to Active Faith: How the Remnant Responds

The Most High does not call His people to hide in caves but to shine as lights in the darkness (Matthew 5:14-16). 📜

This requires:
Keeping the Commandments: Adhering faithfully to the moral law given at Sinai and fulfilled in Christ—the enduring principles of loving God and neighbor (Exodus 20; Deuteronomy 6:4-5; Revelation 14:12). 📜

Holding the Testimony of Christ: Clinging to the full gospel—His life, death, resurrection, and soon return. This is the spirit of prophecy (Revelation 19:10). 📜

Proclaiming the Gospel: Boldly declaring salvation through grace and warning of judgment. In a world of distraction, our voices must ring clear.

Exercising Endurance: Patient trust in God’s timing. “The one who endures to the end will be saved” (Matthew 24:13). 📜

The Promise of Victory and Ultimate

Though the journey is marked by trials, victory is assured. The Remnant is sustained by grace. God has not rejected His people; there is always a remnant chosen by grace (Romans 11:5). 📜

He covers us with His faithfulness as a shield (Psalm 91:4). 📜

In the end, the dragon’s rage fails. Christ returns in , and those who kept the commandments and the faith of Jesus inherit the Kingdom.

In this present darkness—amid technological idolatry, moral confusion, geopolitical storms, and spiritual lethargy—the Remnant’s endurance is a testimony. Your proclaims that the Most High reigns. Stand firm, pray without ceasing, fervently, and proclaim truth unashamedly.

:
, God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the Most High who preserves Your Remnant through every age: Give us strength in the trials of this fallen world. Clothe us in the armor of light. Fill us with the power of Your that we may keep Your commandments, hold fast the testimony of Jesus Christ, and proclaim Your gospel boldly. Sustain us through persecution, deception, and sorrow. Grant us endurance until the day of Your victory. In the name of Christ our Savior and coming King, Amein.
Go forth, Remnant of the Most High. The Lord is with you. Stand firm—the best is yet to come.

Today I stand in the finished work of .
The curse has no over my . Fear does not define me. Shame does not own me. The lies of the enemy do not govern me.

The same who crushed the serpent's head lives within me.
I walk in . I walk in . I walk in . I walk in victory.
What was lost through Adam has been restored through Jesus Christ.
In His Name, I overcome.

"The Garden Reclaimed"

In the hush of Eden's morning light, Where rivers danced beneath Heaven's sight, A whisper slithered through sacred air, And sorrow entered unaware.
The serpent spoke with forked deceit, And innocence fell at darkness' feet. The leaves became a cloak of shame, And fear was born where love once came.
Yet before the dust had fully settled, Before despair could become enthroned, The Father spoke a promise bright: A Seed would rise and restore the light.
Through wilderness and wandering years, Through generations marked by tears, The traveled hand in hand With prophets scattered through the land.
Upon a hill a cross was raised, Where Heaven's Lamb stood unafraid. The curse that once had chained Was nailed where mercy was defined.
The thorns of crowned His brow, bore every burden now. The serpent struck with all its might, Yet Love the darkest night.
The stone was rolled, the grave gave way, And death surrendered to the Day. The curse began to lose its claim, As spoke His Name.
Now every viper, fear, and lie, Must bow before the Lord Most High. The serpent's head beneath His feet, Its ancient incomplete.
And one day soon the shall see The Garden bloom eternally. The will stand once more, Beside 's crystal shore.
No curse. No tears. No pain to bear.
Only everywhere.

"The Curse Reversed: From Eden's Fall to Christ's Triumph"
Guided Glory Global Services

Primary Scriptures: Genesis 3, Numbers 21:4–9, John 3:14–16, Luke 10:19, Acts 28:1–6, Romans 5:17–21, Revelation 22:1–5

Introduction: The Story of Is the Story of Reversal

begins with a garden and ends with a garden.

It begins with losing access to the and ends with eating freely from the Tree of Life once again.

It begins with a serpent bringing death and ends with the serpent's destruction.

What was broken in Eden is through .

The entire biblical narrative is the story of God reversing the curse.

I. The Serpent in Eden: The Beginning of the Curse

In the Garden of Eden, the serpent became the instrument through which deception entered the world.

was not merely about hardship. It represented separation from God, spiritual death, fear, shame, and the corruption of creation.

After sinned, God spoke a prophetic word to the serpent:
"And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel."
— Genesis 3:15 📜

This is the first in Scripture.
Even while announcing judgment, God revealed .

The serpent would wound the Messiah's heel, but the Messiah would crush the serpent's head.

The battle was decided before it truly began.

II. The Bronze Serpent: A Picture of the Cure

In the wilderness, Israel rebelled against God.

Fiery serpents entered the camp and many people died.

God then instructed Moses:
"Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole."
— Numbers 21:8 📜

This seems strange.
The very symbol of the curse became the instrument through which healing came.

Those who looked upon the bronze serpent lived.

Centuries later Jesus explained the mystery:
"And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up."
— John 3:14 📜

The cross became the ultimate reversal.
Christ took upon Himself the consequences of .
The curse was placed upon Him so that could come upon us.

As Paul writes:
"Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us."
— Galatians 3:13 📜

The serpent on the pole was a shadow.
Christ on the cross was the fulfillment.

III. Peter and the Restoration of What Was Lost

When Adam fell, humanity lost authority.
Fear replaced dominion.
Shame replaced confidence.

But after Christ's resurrection, we see authority restored. ⭐

Jesus told Peter:
"I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven."
— Matthew 16:19 📜

Peter, who once denied Christ, became a pillar of the Church.
The curse of failure was reversed through grace.

The curse of fear was reversed through the .

The curse of separation was reversed through reconciliation.
Peter's life demonstrates that what sin damages, Christ can restore.

The first Adam hid among trees.
Peter stood publicly and proclaimed Christ before thousands.

What was lost in Eden began to reappear through redeemed humanity.

IV. Luke's Revelation: Authority Over Serpents

Jesus declared to His disciples:
"Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy."
— Luke 10:19 📜

Notice the symbolism.
The serpent that once ruled through deception is now under the feet of believers.
In Eden, humanity feared the serpent.

In Christ, the serpent fears the authority of God working through humanity.

This is not primarily about reptiles.

It is about .

The enemy who once conquered through lies has been defeated by .
The enemy who once enslaved through fear has been overcome by .

V. Paul Bitten by a Serpent: The Curse Loses Its Power

One of the most dramatic pictures of reversal occurs in Acts.
After a shipwreck, Paul gathered sticks for a fire.
A viper emerged and fastened itself onto his hand.

The people expected him to die.
Instead:
"He shook off the beast into the fire, and felt no harm."
— Acts 28:5 📜

What a picture!
The serpent bit him, but could not destroy him.
The curse struck him, but could not claim him.
The enemy attacked him, but could not stop God's purpose.

The same creature that symbolized humanity's downfall in Eden became powerless before the power of Christ.

The bite remained real.
The was greater.

VI. The Cross Reverses Every Dimension of the Curse

Adam Brought Death — Christ Brings Life

"For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive."
— 1 Corinthians 15:22 📜
Adam Brought Condemnation — Christ Brings Justification
Romans 5:18 📜
Adam Brought Separation — Christ Brings Reconciliation
2 Corinthians 5:18-19 📜

Adam Brought Thorns — Christ Wore Thorns

The soldiers placed a crown of thorns on Jesus' head.
The very symbol of the cursed ground was placed upon the .

He carried the curse so we could receive the blessing.

Adam Hid From God — Christ Opens the Way to God

The veil was torn.
Access was restored.
The exile ended.

VII. The Final Reversal: Eden Restored

The Bible ends where it began.
A garden.
A river.
A tree of life.
But one thing is different.
John writes:
"And there shall be no more curse."
— Revelation 22:3 📜

No more death.
No more sorrow.
No more fear.
No more deception.
No more serpent.
No more separation.

The curse that entered through one act of disobedience is completely removed through the obedience of Christ.

The serpent's head is crushed.
is restored.
The children return home.

Closing Exhortation

Many still live as though they are standing in Eden after the fall.
They walk in shame when Christ offers .
They walk in fear when Christ offers authority.
They walk in defeat when Christ has already won the victory.

The message of the Gospel is not merely that .
The message is that the curse is being reversed.
Where there was death, God brings life.
Where there was bo***ge, God brings .
Where there was darkness, God brings .
Where there was a serpent, God brings a .
Where there was a curse, God brings a .
And where there was a cross, God brings a .

The final word of Scripture is not the serpent. The final word is not the curse. The final word is not death.

The final word is Jesus Christ—the Seed of the Woman, the Second Adam, the King of Glory—who crushes the serpent's head and declares:
"Behold, I make all things new." (Revelation 21:5) 📜

Companion Theme: "The serpent struck the heel, but the Savior crushed the head. What entered through a garden was conquered through a cross and restored through an empty tomb."
