The night sky in rural areas is incredible. When editing these photos I mistook distant stars for a "grainy" image until I was able to zoom in.

The first video recording (or more accurately, the oldest surviving film in existence) was the Roundhay Garden Scene. The silent short that's only about 2 seconds in length was filmed at the Whitely Family house in Oakwood Grange Road, Roundhay (a suburb of Leeds, Yorkshire) Great Britain in 1888

The lawns are turning brown, crops are at a stand still and pastures are getting thin around Putnam county. Pretty common in Northern Missouri this time of year.

With rotationally grazing you can develop a cushion for dry times. In the picture you can see the results, It looks nothing like my description in the first paragraph, and it was taken this morning.

It doesn't protect you completely from drought, but what would you give for just 2 more weeks worth of high quality forage to graze? You'd be that much closer to the next rain.

For reference I currently run a stocking density of 11 head + calves on 17 acres split 6 ways. No fertilizer.
