About Courtney

y name is Courtney Lynn Chow, but once upon a time, my high school bff called me "Courtlynn" and it kinda stuck as my creative "alter ego".

Since I was 11, I've been leveraging my skills and helping people. Remember friendship bracelets from middle school? I always had a waiting list of people I was making them for. Car washes for our bikes? The neighborhood kids would line up. Once I figured out how to braid, I was soon teaching friends how to braid the hair of their dolls too.

I've also always had the drive to want to help people and give generously to them and had planned to work in non-profit fundraising when I "grew up".

Well, I did grow up, and I graduated from UC Irvine with a degree in Psychology and Social Behavior and minored in digital art. I did go work at a non-profit, leveraging my graphic design, event planning, and relationship skills to raise money for a learning center in San Diego through huge events and programs.

I pivoted my career in 2014, and since then, I've been working in digital marketing in the Bay Area & LA at super cool places like eBay and Vox Media.

With a true entrepreneurial spirit, I’ve also launched a few of my own side hustles along the way (like wedding photography, handcrafted hairpieces, and a hair and makeup artist!) always around my passion for helping others experience an amazing life.

With my bent towards making life beautiful for all and how much I value relationships, I am passionate about the services that do that for their clients - starting with the super special events in their lives - which is why I LOVE working with event professionals. I also love being able to help real estate agents share about how they can help with clients with finding their next home, and Interior designers who make it a place where the people they serve will spend quality time with those they love most.

My dream was to be a basketball coach and I am thrilled to be able to coach people working for themselves on curating the memories, stories, relationships, and elements that will make a customer choose them. I specialize in connecting the feelings you want your clients to have with the aesthetics, to really represent who you are. Especially in social media and in digital marketing.
