The most effective way to get involved is by joining a Business Alliance. These alliances are managed by Career Development Coordinators across 36 high schools and 32 middle schools in Wake County. This is an excellent opportunity to give back to students, secure interns, and network with major companies to expand your professional footprint.

Join us for “Laugh and Groove - A Juneteenth Outdoor Celebration.” This event is taking place on Friday, June 20 at 7pm outside at the Life Enrichment Center Parking Lot.

This event will feature: Jashaun Peele and Friends, America’s Got Talent Artist Tyler Butler-Figueroa, Comedian Tanya Lewis and the Jus Once Band. Returning as our host is Brian Dawson of K97.5. This event is free and open to the public! Private tents are available for purchase along with vendor and food truck opportunities. Be sure to bring your lawn chairs! Yesterday was so much fun! My first time being included in a book involving horses in this way. Extremely happy my daughters were involved. E.B. Lewis is standing in this photo with us. He is a well known illustrator. Google him! I’m sure you have some of his books. has a few!

A lot of y’all are new here. Hey hey! That’s me in the hat and my locs hanging down. I have 4 daughters and a bunch of animals. I do what I do because I love it. I enjoy it. It’s just me and that’s okay. Ain’t stopped a thang!

Please note I am very busy. I do like to engage and respond but do not get upset if I don’t. My time is valuable and I actually don’t owe it to anyone but my kids and animals.

I know how ppl can be on social media but as far as me and my platforms, I am who I am and you get what you get. I am not here for clout chasing or clout chasers. I have been around this horse thang a long time. Ppl come and go. This isn’t some popular thing to me, this is my actual life.

There 50 million other things I could be doing but I chose to share with y’all. I enjoy it because it is MY story to tell. So anything and anyone that is not in alignment with all things Caitlin Gooch, can go.

I visit schools to talk about my upbringing with horses, we have field trips to the farm, my Black equestrian coloring book is online, and summer camp starts next month! Get into it!! Book with me.

My contact information is all on the page and my website. Please contact me or in relation to things about us. Do not contact anyone else. People claim to know me sometimes and they do not. Someone has even perpetuated being me before so these are my only platforms!!

I am very excited for my girls who see me get to it daily. I am very excited for our next steps. So awesome! Some beautiful! So ready!
