Mission Yellow Marketing has officially been in business for two years!🔅🎉
It is hard for me to believe that it has been two years since I decided to take a leap of faith right out of college and open my own marketing company. That still sounds weird for me to even say! A lot of entrepreneurs will say things like “it’s not always easy”, but today I want to be the entrepreneur that says I am extremely proud of everything Mission has done to date. We have successfully helped 15 businesses across Pennsylvania, I have taken several online courses to become a better business owner/marketing professional, made a few mistakes along the way, and I have loved this job for the full 730 days (and counting). However, the bottom line is that I would have nothing to be proud of if it wasn’t for every single person who has believed in me, who has encouraged me, who has educated me, who has mentored me, and who has shown up for me since becoming a small business owner.
There are a few people I would like to give some recognition to more specifically. First, huge thank you to Matt Paonessa with JMG Systems. Matt has been such a wonderful mentor to me throughout my time with Mission. Not only has he answered all my numerous questions about things that I don’t know, he also has played an integral role in giving me the confidence that I have today as a business owner. Second, I have to give some recognition to my other mentor/peer, Kevin Doyle with Arranged Elements. Kevin has been another person I can always go to whether I need his help on the web development side of things, or just the business side. I have worked with him on a couple of client projects and he has been nothing but encouraging and kind. I can’t speak highly enough about him and his work. Third, I have to talk about my Dad, Geoff Behrens, here as well. Dad was someone that believed in me straight from the jump…before I even believed in myself. He has been able to advise me on all things entrepreneur-related, and also give me the honest feedback every business owner needs to hear. I am so thankful for him and all his help. Fourth, and finally, Mission would not still be in business today if it wasn’t for the unwavering support from my husband, Dalton. Dalton has been a consistent cheerleader for Mission. When I feel like my tanks are about to run out, Dalton is always there to fill them back up with love and support. He truly is my biggest hype man, or as we like to say in our house - my unpaid intern.
We are still moving full steam ahead into 2025, so continue to follow our journey on social media. Here is to another year of Bringing Light to Your Business - and thank you for being my light in return.💛
Sincerely,
Kaelynn Yoder - Owner of Mission Yellow Marketing
