✅ Give the lead magnet/freebie!
✅ Get the email!
Make 💰💰💰
This WORKS they say! (Maybe in 2016? When ads were cheap and you could advertise anything and make a win?).
But here’s what REALLY wrong with the whole Facebook™ ads marketing approach taught in 99% of courses…
It’s all about take, take, take.
The vast majority of email marketing campaigns TAKE from their potential customers and don’t give back (they SAY they're giving with a generous lead magnet, but c'mon. We know the purpose).
The REAL problem with ads campaigns these days is they all WANT something (AKA “look at my stuff!”).
(This is aside from the obvious problem of the fantastical story-telling of how this person made x number of $$$ in x number of days while walking on a beach—you KNOW why those don’t work).
Newsflash:
Nobody cares about your stuff.
Nobody is even that impressed with your lead magnet (unless it REALLY speaks to them).
What MATTERS is:
The relationship you build with people.
How OFTEN you show up for them.
How much you CARE about responding to then and interacting with them (and if you’re too busy, hire a VA to help you do that!).
The problem with ad campaigns is they’re not designed with the customer journey in mind.
They are aggressive and try to push you through a funnel you may not care about.
They’re not designed to BUILD relationships.
They’re designed to make a quick sale.
The good news?
The Facebook™ advertising platform makes it REALLY easy to run “Ads that don’t FEEL like ads” (my favourite saying!).
To run ads that provide VALUE and build relationships without asking for anything in return until your customer comes to you (and then it’s THEIR idea).
If there’s ONE shift you’ll make this year, make it more human ad campaigns (AKA relationship-building campaigns).
Make a lot of videos. Write a lot of posts. Let people into your life. (Then make those retargeting "ads").
Trust that THIS will be far more effective at helping with sales than anything else.
(Ads that don’t feel like ads).

📔6 Steps to Developing your Unique Brand Story🖌

1) Take your avatar (ideal client) “problems” and identify your similar stories.

2) Identify the emotions you felt at the time.

3) Tell the story of your transformation.

protagonist (you)➡ obstacles ➡overcomes challenge in the end (triumph!)

4 ) Story Beginning: what, what, where?

Set up the “what is” scenario.

This builds trust and elicits emotion and a bond.

Introduce what could be.

5) Story Middle: Context, conflict, proposed resolution, complication.

Where the action takes place

People realize you’re going to shake up their world.

Move back and forth between what is and what could be.

6) Story End: Actual resolution/moral

Include how blissful their world could be

Include a call-to-action to a new bliss.

E.g. “It will take work but it’s your unique chance to ____.”

Highlight the benefits plus a call to action to something that moves them and shows them that the effort will be worth it (status, influence, etc).

✨Why do you need an Ideal Avatar for a successful Campaign?✨

NO, I'm not talking about your personalized facebook™ cartoon avatar. I'm talking about your DREAM, ideal client.

When I ask "What is your avatar?" I sometimes get the response-"Well everyone." I get it, people like Tony Robins seem to be targeting such a wide range of audiences, so why would you need to niche down?

When it comes to online marketing you need to have an ideal avatar, which is essentially an ideal client who would enjoy what you have to offer. I would like to market directly to that person.

The marketing campaigns that do the best are hyper focused on an ideal avatar. Part of the power of facebook™ ads and copyrighting that converts on th platform is speaking very specifically to one type of person and knowing them inside and out.

If we know the problems that are keeping them up at night, tossing and turning till 3am, we can write copy that adequately reflects those concerns.
Suddenly, we have an in!

We need to know the problems and the emotions that they have around those problems. Facebook™ ads are fueled off personalization and unique circumstances. Without a clear avatar, you simply won't have success.

An avatar will help you create programs and offerings that fill a true need and offer a real solution. Not to mention it will help you attract the right type of prospect to your business. Then, I can create tailored copywriting and content that CONVERTS when running your ads.

If you are thinking, "I don't know who my ideal avatar is because I can help so many people." The best way to figure out your ideal avatar, 9 times out of 10, is to think about YOURSELF. We are in the best position to help who we were just a couple years ago.

In conclusion, an ideal avatar is so important to the success of your advertising campaign because, "without talking to one person, you're talking to no one."

I would love to know if you have an ideal avatar, and if you don't, I would love to help you identify one.

What is a sales Funnel and do I need one for my business?
Catchy ads (that don't feel like ads) with landing pages that seem to answer all the questions you're asking late at night staring at the ceiling....

That is a sales Funnel my friends!

Funnels do 4 Things:

🌟Spark interest
🌟Build Awareness
🌟Encourage Decision Making
🌟 Call People to Action

You might be asking now, "Well doesn't my Website do that? Yes it does but not nearly as effective as a funnel. This is because websites offer too many distractions. A busy brain does NOT buy!!

In short, a Funnel makes people aware of a problem they have, and offers a solution! This solution takes a COLD audience of complete strangers and CONVERTS them to a WARM audience who has opted in and seen your add before or several times, to finally a HOT audience that has consumed a lot of your content and is READY TO BUY! In essence, your funnel is your roadmap for success.

The funnel helps you:

✅Know where and how leads and prospects are lost
✅Learn how to shorten the sales cycle
✅Measure ROI
✅Create streamlined personalized buyer experience

Ultimately, this drives more sales, boosts brand loyalty, and enables us to improve your marketing strategy overtime.

So the answer to your question: YES, you need a sales funnel if you want to grow online and leverage untapped potential for GROWTH!

For a Southern California girl, I don't experience the shift in seasons like most. That being said, the air feels crisper and I'm watching the leaves start to slowly change their colors.
No matter what else is going on in the world, we can always count on the four seasons to progress as usual every year. The same concept holds true in business.

The only difference is the timing- your season may be a few years instead of a few months, but the rotation through all four is simply unavoidable. So what can you do in your season? I'll tell ya...

Spring is the beginning of a new economic cycle. If you survived the winter and stowed cash, now is the time to renew life into your business and scale, planting the seeds that will sprout and grow in your next season.

Summer is the best time to maximize your revenue. The old saying, "make hay while the sun shines" is your summer motto. In summer, invest heavily in your business' growth, nurturing the seeds you planted back in spring.

Autumn is the season to evaluate your offering and identify how you can differentiate your business from competition. By this time, your business is usually well -established and on solid ground. If you are in this season, enjoy the crisper weather and prepare for winter, stowing away the acorns.

Winter is a true testament to the nurturing you have done in your previous seasons. If you have properly laid the groundwork, you are well prepared to not only survive, but thrive in this season. Go shopping if you have saved when competition is low and the deals are easy to find.

Whatever season you are at in your business, know that there will be a shift where one collapses into the other. And if you can't stand the season you are in we can always get you back to warm weather, on a beach, sipping a margarita. ✨
