Six of my hot takes after working in social media/content creation every single day 👀👇
1. A smaller audience that actually connects with your brand will always outperform a large audience that scrolls past your content. People remember stories, personality, and emotion far longer than perfectly curated graphics.
2. A million views means very little if nobody remembers your business, visits your website, books your service, or walks through your door. Visibility is great, but connection and conversion matter more.
3. Some of the content people connect with most is raw, relatable, and imperfect. Audiences are craving authenticity, not content that feels overly scripted or overly produced.
4. People want to know who they’re supporting. They connect with faces, personalities, stories, opinions, humor, and real moments — not just logos and sales graphics.
5. If your business feels warm and welcoming on social media but cold in person, there’s a disconnect. The best brands create consistency both online and offline.
6. Anyone can post. The challenge is coming up with fresh ideas, strong messaging, and meaningful content week after week after week without sounding repetitive.
Social media changes constantly, but human connection really doesn’t. 🤍
