We remember it well. Twenty-five years ago, in the early morning hours, we watched from Reno as one tower burned, a second tower was struck – and then both towers collapsed. We worked side by side with the Reno Airport, a client at the time, as hundreds of passengers were stranded and simply wanted to be home with their loved ones, providing updates, supporting briefings, and not knowing what would come next. There was no playbook for this.
We saw our community come together. We felt every emotion. Today is no different.
We are grateful for the firefighters, police officers, and first responders who ran toward the towers, some never to return. We mourn with those who lost loved ones. We salute the bravery of so very many. We stood with our country as we joined together as one nation under God. And we stand with our country today.
Now, 25 years later, those emotions remain. We will never forget. #911
