When budgeting hits hard, Ross becomes your best friend 😂🛍️
Ever since everyone started cutting back on spending, I’ve basically turned into a Ross regular. Thought I’d swing by this weekend to check for new arrivals — and lucky me, they actually had some good stuff 👗👏!
But OMG 😩 the checkout line was insane — it stretched from the south entrance all the way to the north! Almost everyone there was Hispanic, and I was the only Asian in sight 😅. The fitting room lady didn’t seem too happy to see me either 😕. And they all love paying cash 💵, with carts full of stuff — so yeah, it moved at turtle speed 🐢.
So I hopped over to Marshall’s and Burlington next door 😎. Found some nice deals, and the older white lady in the fitting room was super sweet, even though she could barely walk 🥰. But when I went to check out at Burlington… the line was even longer! 😫 It twisted around like a maze. I waited half an hour and barely moved 😤.
Luckily, a white guy and an Asian lady behind me (most people there were white 👩🏼👨🏻) offered to hold my spot 🥹. I dashed to my car 🚗 to grab a water bottle, then went back to Ross, waited another 30 minutes ⏳, finally paid 🙌 — and ran back to Burlington.
Still the same crazy line 😮💨. I found the sweet couple again (thank goodness 🙏), shamelessly rejoined them 😅, thanked them, but forgot to bring them water 🫣. We chatted a bit 💬 — I thought maybe Thanksgiving came early 🦃😂, but they said weekends are always like this and the stores stay open till midnight 🌙🛒!
Honestly, what’s going on with all these stores lately?! 🤯
How are your Ross and Burlington where you live? 👀✨
