Does your photography tell the story of your brand?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This is the first food photograph that I published at . I had styled this completely differently to begin with, but something didn't feel quite right. So I started over and changed everything. What I ended up with here is a photograph that says as much about the A Cultivated Living brand (that's me) as it does about the frittata recipe.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. Organic & Natural - This flows throughout from the way the frittata is styled, to the crinkly linen napkins, to the handmade pottery, to the ingredients themselves. I appreciate the natural and wild, raw forms and real ingredients.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. Refined & Artisanal - There is a nod to craftsmanship and heritage in home decor. From the hand forged flatware to the handmade pottery to the traditional pattern of the tablecloth, I appreciate artisanal design.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3. Traditional Textiles - The floral tablecloth captures almost as much attention as the frittata in this image. Which speaks to my love of and history with textiles. I have spent most of my career working in the textile and home furnishings industry (for ), and grew up in a family immersed in it as well (with ).⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
4. Vegetables Always - While this is a recipe for an Asparagus, Brie, and Smoked Salmon frittata the vegetables take center stage in the dish. I am a pescatarian and am obsessed with vegetables.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Can you feel those four things from this photo?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
