For years, I knew that when I showed up for work, I got paid. That was simply how life worked for me.
Then COVID happened.
For almost four months, I was furloughedโand the paycheck I was used to receiving stopped too.
That experience left me with one important question:
โIf life changes unexpectedly again, what other option will I have?โ
I wasnโt looking to replace my nursing career. I just realized I didnโt want everything depending on one source.
So I became open to learning something different alongside my job.
I started with no digital marketing experience and definitely wasnโt tech-savvy. I simply learned little by little, during the time I had available.
Today, Iโm grateful that one difficult season taught me to think differently. โค๏ธ
Sometimes we donโt need to change everything.
We just need to become open to another option.
