So, I had a dream the other night about 🍊. It was his face underwater but, he wasn't drowning. The water was truth, love, fairness, kindness, empathy, compassion and understanding. I watched as the waves flood over his face again and again. He fought every time the water crept into his nose, mouth and lungs. He gasped with anger as the water of assorted ambiguous nature enveloped him. He finally gave in and sank. His face shifted from one of anger to peace.
I woke with a sense of happiness, then, realized this I not how things work. It's not this easy.
This art I made has a simple saying included on the art. It's one thing I think is of the up most importance about what's going on now. Right now. I hear others say to me all the time, "It's okay to have a difference opinion." Then, I remind them, "if their opinion tramples on the right of others, it's not an opinion, it's oppression."
I think much of what is going on with the great divide in America, is there are people who can respect other's rights and there are those that cannot. I have trouble grasping why anyone would want to take another's rights away. It saddens me greatly.
I hear 🍊 supporters talk about how they think he is going to give them what they want, but all I see so far, is him removing rights from many. Especially minorities. All of them. Races, faiths, disabilities, sexes, etc. I haven't seen one thing good as of yet. This includes all his years in presidency. So many have voted against their own self interest due to all the lies spread. This country is seriously misinformed and undereducated. Nobody is coming to save us.
