Thereโ€™s something very exciting about a new offer.

Because THIS one might be the one. ๐Ÿ˜‚

The one people immediately understand. The one thatโ€™s easier to market. Easier to sell. The one that finally clicks.

Meanwhile, the offer we already have is sitting there requiring us to actually figure some things out.

Was it the offer? The messaging? The audience? Did enough people see it? Did we follow up? What questions did people ask? Where did they hesitate?

And sometimes, yes... new really is better than old. We learn. Our businesses change. Our customers change. Better opportunities show up.

But new also gets to live in possibility.

Old has evidence attached to it.

And evidence takes a little more work to understand.

So before we automatically decide the next offer is going to be THE offer, it might be worth figuring out what the current one has been trying to tell us.

Sometimes you need something new.

And sometimes the old one just needs you to stay with it long enough to figure it out. ๐ŸŽถ

Did you play Rock, Paper, Scissors growing up? ๐Ÿ˜‚

I swear this is what half of business ownership feels like.

Clients show up to our calls trying to decide between two perfectly reasonable options. Do this or that. Build this first or that first. Keep doing it themselves or hand it off. Follow this idea or stay with the plan.

And somewhere in the middle of all of that, we also have to decide whatโ€™s for dinner.

Which, for some reason, is often the hardest decision of the day.

Sometimes there isnโ€™t a bad choice. We just need to stop throwing rock, paper, scissors in our own heads long enough to decide what makes the most sense right now.

Although if anyone has figured out a strategy for answering โ€œWhat do you want for dinner?โ€ every single night, please advise.

There is something VERY fun about getting the call, text or voice note that starts with โ€œKAMI!!!โ€ and immediately knowing we have something to celebrate. ๐ŸŽ‰

I love the strategy. I love figuring out whatโ€™s next. I love taking all the ideas floating around in someoneโ€™s head and turning them into something we can actually build, test, sell or use.

But watching someone go from โ€œI have this ideaโ€ฆโ€ to โ€œOMG IT WORKEDโ€?

Yeah. That part never gets old.

And for the record, I fully expect to be included in the celebration.

Iโ€™ve been using ChatGPT since 2022, and I freaking love this tool. ๐Ÿ˜‚

I saw the opportunity early, and over the years it has

But Iโ€™m also constantly wonderingโ€ฆ

Because if Iโ€™m paying for a tool every month, I want to know Iโ€™m actually using what Iโ€™m paying for. ๐Ÿ˜‚

So with all the new updates and everything ChatGPT can do now, I decided to stop wondering and just ask it:

โ€undefined

And whewww. ๐Ÿ˜‚

It basically showed me that even after using it for almost four years, Iโ€™m still sometimes treating it like a tool I give individual tasks toโ€ฆ

instead of asking:

THAT got my attention.

So naturally, I kept asking questions.

Where am I still doing things manually?
What am I underusing?
Where am *I* the bottleneck?
What could I hand over that I havenโ€™t even thought about handing over?

I put some of the best prompts from that conversation into this carousel so you can run the same little experiment on yours.

Because I donโ€™t just want to have ChatGPT.

Save this, try the prompts, and then come back and tell me what yours called you out on. ๐Ÿ‘€

I need more sales.

I hear it every single day, and Iโ€™ve definitely said it myself.

Maybe there arenโ€™t enough phone calls coming in for the home service company to keep their techs busy. The webinar you spent months creating didnโ€™t get enough sign-ups to convert into the new offer youโ€™ve been dreaming about. Your lead magnet isnโ€™t getting enough opt-ins. Your email list isnโ€™t converting.

Whatever is happening, the conclusion becomes: We need more revenue.

Okay... but WHY?

โ€œI need more salesโ€ tells me what you want. It doesnโ€™t necessarily tell me what the actual problem is.

One of the wildest examples Iโ€™ve seen was a home service business owner who could barely finish a thought before his phone rang again. His employees were standing in front of customers calling HIM to ask what price they should quote.

He was exhausted, deals were taking too long to close and everything depended on him.

The business didnโ€™t just need more sales. We needed a price book and employees who were empowered to use it.

We built one, taught the team how to confidently quote and close the work themselves, and suddenly deals could close faster while the owner could actually breathe.

Iโ€™ve also found more than $250,000 sitting inside a P&L simply by looking at unnecessary overhead... subscriptions, software, office supplies and expenses that had quietly piled up over time. And please donโ€™t get me started on the expensive new technology sitting in a closet because nobody ever learned how to use it. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Sometimes you DO need more leads. Sometimes you DO need ads.

But before we throw more money at the Google machine, I want to look for the clues.

Where are customers getting stuck? Is the messaging clear? Do the buttons on the website actually lead somewhere? Did you tell anyone about the offer you launched? Are you following up? And can your business actually handle more customers if they show up?

Or are you virtually standing behind the counter waiting for someone to jump into your DMs, beg you to take their money, and then getting so excited when they do that you word-vomit the entire business onto them? ๐Ÿ˜‚

More sales isnโ€™t always the solution. Sometimes โ€œI need more salesโ€ is simply the clue that tells us where to start looking.

Before you fix your sales problem, make sure sales is actually the problem.

I LOVE a shiny new idea too. ๐Ÿ˜‚

My natural response is to run to ChatGPT, start flushing it out and create approximately 4 new documents inside a folder I swear Iโ€™ll come back to later.

I have at least...

79 notebooks.

546 notes in my iCloud.

9 years of Canva designs.

A very heavy folder called

And Iโ€™m currently using ๐Ÿญ.๐Ÿฒ๐Ÿด ๐—ง๐—• ๐—ผ๐—ณ ๐—บ๐˜† ๐Ÿฎ ๐—ง๐—• ๐˜€๐˜๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—ด๐—ฒ because apparently both my clients and I have collectively decided that paying for the next storage upgrade is where we draw the line. ๐Ÿ˜‚

There is probably a billion dollars sitting in ideas around here somewhere.

But hereโ€™s what 20+ years in business has taught me:

Having the idea usually isnโ€™t the hard part.

I see this with my clients all the time.

Theyโ€™ll come to me with a new idea theyโ€™re SO excited about.

And I love it. I want to hear everything.

Then somewhere in the conversation Iโ€™m probably going to ask:

โ€undefined

Not because I believe you have to finish everything you start.

I donโ€™t.

Sometimes we finish it.
Sometimes we pause it.
Sometimes the new idea actually IS the better direction.
Sometimes we intentionally let the old one go.

And sometimes an idea isnโ€™t wrong at all.

Maybe youโ€™re not ready yet.
Maybe your audience isnโ€™t ready.
Maybe your business isnโ€™t ready.
Maybe you havenโ€™t become the person who can serve it at the level it deserves yet.

I have a course I created back in 2020 that has been sitting in my Google Drive collecting dust because, at the time, I wasnโ€™t sure how to turn what I did 1:1 into something I could teach as a course.

Six years later, I can look at it completely differently.

Thatโ€™s why I donโ€™t automatically throw old ideas away.

The trick is recognizing the difference between an idea that deserves your attention now, one that needs to wait, and one youโ€™re ready to let go.

Because having a lot of possibilities isnโ€™t the problem.

So yes

Your new idea IS very exciting.

But your unfinished idea would still like a word. ๐Ÿ˜‚

I use what I call the Pendulum Theory a lot with my clients.

We tend to swing from one extreme to the other.

With sales, it can look like:

โ€œI need to get them to say yes.โ€
โ€œI don't want to sell because I don't want to be salesy.โ€

Neither feels very good.

The middle? Curiosity.

What do they actually need? What do they want? What are they trying to solve? And are you actually the right person to help?

Sometimes theyโ€™ll buy. Sometimes they wonโ€™t.

The goal isn't to swing harder in the opposite direction.

It's to recognize where the pendulum is and find what actually works.

Sometimes weโ€™re so busy chasing the next goal that we forget weโ€™re already living inside an old one.

Take a second. Look around. Recognize what worked. Then decide whatโ€™s next. ๐Ÿ’œ

What if the thing holding us back isnโ€™t always what we knowโ€ฆ but how confident we feel acting on it?

One Pew study found that among workers who didnโ€™t negotiate their starting salary, 42% of women said they didnโ€™t feel comfortable asking for more pay, compared with 33% of men.

And that makes Lupitaโ€™s point in this episode hit a little differently. ๐Ÿ‘€

How many times have we told ourselves:

โ€œWhen I know moreโ€ฆโ€
โ€œWhen I make moreโ€ฆโ€
โ€œWhen Iโ€™m more qualifiedโ€ฆโ€
โ€œWhen I finally feel readyโ€ฆโ€

Maybe we don't need another qualification before we make the move.

๐ŸŽ™๏ธ Weโ€™re talking money, confidence, spending, debt and the things women were never taught in Why Women Overthink Money with our first guest, Lupita Lechuga.

That $300 plane ticket might not actually cost you $300. ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ’ณ

One of the biggest money lessons we can learn is to stop asking only:

**โ€œCan I afford the payment?

And start asking:

Whatโ€™s the interest rate?
Will I pay this off next month?
What will this purchase **actually cost me**?

Because understanding your money changes the way you use it.

And WHY were so many of us never taught this stuff?! ๐Ÿ˜…

๐ŸŽ™๏ธ **Every woman needs to listen to this episode.**

Weโ€™re talking about the stuff we should have been talking about YEARS ago - money, debt, spending, confidence, the habits we inherited, and how to finally feel more in control of it all.

Listen to **Why Women Overthink Money** on *Probably Most Definitely Overthinking This* โ€” Spotify, Apple Podcasts & YouTube. ๐ŸŽง

And send this one to a woman you love. ๐Ÿซถ
