I haven’t posted in a while because it’s been crazy busy, which is an amazing thing! However, today I wanted to share as I have switched gears to a different project!

#1 - I’ve always been afraid of watercolor. But when your sweet friend is having a baby and asks you do do a watercolor painting…. You DO a watercolor painting! 😂. Loving these Tombow Watercolor markers! Makes it much less scary and so colorful and fun!

#2 - Frankie thinks my watercolor bowls are his drinking/bathing bowls 😂. He keeps me company for a good while when I sit down to paint! Too cute not to share!

A great read about "Why Business and Design Need Each Other." This is something that can be easily forgotten but they really do go hand-in-hand.

The principles that govern design are foreign to many business leaders but it takes more than shiny deliverables to span the knowledge gap. Designers must translate design value into business value.

Lily was "helping" me finish up a logo design last night and she started inquiring about some of my work from the past. I pulled out my portfolio so we could look through everything. This is the one she loved the most! The detail of the hairs, the colors, and the shading. "How did you do that?" she asked. Well Lily, I wonder that too. 😆

I love how much interest she is showing in my art! It makes my heart happy! 🥰
