And I thought solo travel was hard...

In March of 2019, I purchased, what I thought was a huge investment at the time, a Virtual Assistant course for less than $500.

I thought the past 3 years of traveling the world were my most developmental years... hahaha boy was I wrong.

I dabbled through the course as my lifestyle allowed. I finally came back home to Montana with my 4 rescued Bali dogs... ready for a little more stability in my life.

2 years later and I started my own business, gained some amazing clients, became my own boss, hired on my own team member, and holy sh*t have I grown.

Don’t get me wrong, traveling solo had it’s tough times.. but being an entrepreneur has shown even tougher times.

I’ve learned that investing in myself always pays off and that time management is so valuable. Ive learned how to get up every single day, even when I questioned my entire business. And I’ve learned the risks it takes for this type of self-development.

It’s so worth it, but it isn’t easy.

So to my entrepreneur friends, no matter what stage you’re in now, I applaud you. It takes a lot to stick it out and push forward to do your best all the damn time.

I’m sorry.. but I’m not

This is a BIG one for me because I *used to be the queen of “ I’m sorry “

After 1.5 years in business, my mindset has slowly been shifting and I’m finally really coming to terms with it and owning it. 💪

No more anxiety driven apologies that make me feel less than.

My biggest realization lately is this:

Do I want to help everyone? Yes, because that’s a huge characteristic of mine.

Can I help everyone? HELL NO- stop trying!

I have to pick and choose who I want to help which recently sounds a lot like “I’m not the person for you.”

Only saying yes to aligned clients from here on out.

And god damn, does that empowerment feel good.

I need someone to help me with some everyday engagement for myself and my clients so I can continue to focus on some bigger projects (yay!)

✨Must be available between 9am-11am MST, Monday through Friday (but 100% remote position)

Consistency and taking SM breaks- can you have both?

Y’all know I preach consistency as much as the next SMM...
But what happens when you just need a break- will every fall apart? All your efforts disappear?

I took a few days off showing up in my stories and posting and guess what.. I didn’t lost clients, I didn’t lose followers, everything is the exact same. 🦋

And now that I’ve given myself that time I normally would have spent creating to sleep, relax, and refresh, I feel like I can come back stronger & more creative ✨

So yes, breaks are totally fine 💅 but if you’re feeling like breaks are needed on a weekly basis then let’s talk!

A Social Media Manager will give you the freedom to take allll the breaks you want because I got your back when you’re not feeling it or just need some extra naps in your life.

I couldn’t imagine growing up anywhere else...

I’ve always considered myself a small town girl. My family roots run deep in this town of 2,500 and I’m known best for my family history. 📖

My grandparents started a hardware/sports shop downtown that was extremely well known, my mom has lived in Red Lodge (the town) almost her entire life, my sister is a teacher at the local school, and my dad is very active in our county. 🗺

My family name is on buildings and plaques around town from various community service projects like the dog park and active transportation trails. 🐶

So when I say I value community, that’s an understatement. I realized the power of community service since it’s created the bad ass little town I live in today.

And now anytime my community is in need, I jump on the opportunity to help.

I’m not here to brag about the hours I’ve put in for service hours, but to help you realize how much the word community means to me.

And I value that word in all aspects in my life, even in the online world. 📲
