I find this very surprising, especially considering how much they expanded Local Listings (formerly Google my Business)

To summarize, Google has offered local businesses a free website for many years now as part of their local listing platform. Now after many years offering this and many using it, they have decided to phase these "google sites" out.

For those using Google sites, if they don't do something, they'll find themselves without a website.
I consider local business websites my bread and butter.

In a confusing and rapidly evolving Digital Era, my first goal is always to bring clarity to my customers and potential customers. So they can make an informed decision

Businesses wanting to maintain their online presence will need to rebuild their sites using an alternative platform.

Great example of good messaging. It's eye catching (scroll stopping) and it demonstrates an understanding of the mentality of the consumer.

A Coffee shop that gives a damn is one that understands that we can make a cup of coffee at home, so they're letting us know they will try, they care. Taste is subjective, but they give a damn.

They understand the problem and set realistic expectations. It got my attention when I saw it resurrected by a coffee shop downtown Iowa City.
