Oh what a night. I’m still beaming. held a beautiful event I was privileged enough to photograph at the amazing new , after having cancel on them at literally the 11th hour. Read the second slide and avoid them like the cowardly, ugly thing they are.

I’m here to say only two things.
1. Donate to . Help continue access to healthcare, promote autonomy, reclaim the rights they are trying to strip us of every single day. Even if you aren’t local we have to fund the places providing gender affirming care, abortions, vasectomies, peri/post menopausal care. We have to fund them NOW more than ever.

2. Book at . Weddings, parties, work events. The space was a photography dream. The owner was kind and professional and hustled hard to make this event a sparkling reality.

We need to support the people and orgs who are really showing up for us. Have an event coming up at ? I’ll be offering a discounted rate for wedding and event photography for the foreseeable future.

Q***r love exists all around us. It always has. Bold in the face of adversity, here we are - the simple act of breathing, a thumb in the eye of ignorance. This isn’t a hate post. It’s a radical love post. It’s holding hands and hearts, and the teeniest of toesies.

Recently, we were invited into the new lives of Charlie and Amaryllis. Longtime community caregivers and doers for their q***r consortium… they grew a plus one. Just like millennia of folx before them. The true q***r agenda: creating space and joy and autonomous love.

As an artist and photographer, it was an easy delight to slide into. There are few things more precious than the nervously organic fawning of new parents. As a q***r artist and photographer, it was humbling and beautiful.

We choose who we shine our light upon. We make the world brighter.
