Today, we celebrate the teachers who do so much more than teach a lesson.

You encourage.
You listen.
You challenge.
You nurture.
You inspire.
You see potential before someone else can see it in themselves.

To every teacher, educator, mentor. and school professional who pours into our children and our communities, THANK YOU!️

And Sis, if there’s a teacher who made a difference in your life or in the life of someone you love, take a moment to tell them or even donate systems to their classroom. Give teachers their flowers with appreciation. Cause it takes a special person to teach.

Because sometimes the people who help shape who we become don't always get to see the full impact of what they've poured into us.

Today, we see you. We appreciate you. And we celebrate you.

It’s having women who celebrate you, challenge you, encourage you, check on you, and make space for you to grow.

It’s connection.
It’s community.
It’s showing up.

And sometimes, it’s simply knowing:

“I don't have to do this alone.”

Sis, how are you "really" doing?

Not the “I’m good.”
Not the “I’m just busy.”
Not the answer you give because it’s easier.

Take a moment today to check in with yourself.

What do you need more of?
What do you need less of?
What have you been carrying that you need to put down?

And while you’re checking in with yourself, check in on a sister, too.

Sometimes sisterhood sounds like:

"Girl, let’s hang out.”
"I’m coming over.” or "Can you come over"
"Let’s go do something.”
“You crossed my mind, so I called.”
"I need to talk."

Make the call. Send the text. Reach out to her, and let her know if you need her too.

Because sisterhood isn't just about being there when something happens; it's about making time to simply be together and talk. Be honest and have fun.

A woman of her word keeps her promises to herself and to the women she calls sisters.
