Social media management and social media marketing sound like they’re the same things, but they’re actually very different
Social media management is your baseline: it’s the consistent strategy of posting often with high-quality content, getting people to engage with your content, and generally being active on social media.
Social media marketing is the next level up. Once you have a good content strategy and you’ve built up a following that interacts with your posts (and has some level of trust), you can move on to marketing your products/services to them (and other potential customers). This may include running ads and specific campaigns with the goal to get purchases, link clicks, sign-ups, or whatever else your objective is.
The key to good social media marketing is to first have solid social media management!
