Kathleen Carley during her speech at the international academy of science stated that “social cyber crime” is going to be the MAIN problem for the next 10 years for people and businesses.
We have seen it many times.. when someone does not fit someone else’s narrative they are turned into villains and through systemic reputational damage caused by using a specific methodology the victim is ground down into dust in most cases.
What is social cyber crime? She states that its things like misinformation, smear campaigns, social engineering attack etc. It is a very different notion from “cyber crime”. On instance someone can be put into your business as an employe with one and only goal… to destroy your business from the inside out. This type of thing happens every day thousands of times in different forms. No one is safe from this not even the president of a given country.
The attackers among other methods use methods of “religious extremism” to solve their tasks.
