A day in my life… sort of. 😂

Admittedly, this is a couple of days squished together because if you followed me around for one actual workday, there’s a good chance you’d just watch me sit in the same spot answering emails, working on client accounts and editing videos for several hours. Not exactly riveting content.

But this is a pretty good snapshot of what my days can look like when I actually leave my desk.

Starting the morning at an Armonk Chamber of Commerce meeting, then heading to •DC Hair & Spa Studio• for a haircut. Whenever I get my hair done, I try to take advantage of it and batch some content while it still looks good 😂 so I headed home and filmed a few talking-head videos and Stories for my Labor Day promo for Create Once, Post for Weeks™, which is happening September 30th. Then it was off to Dolce Restaurant Danbury for a collaboration and content shoot. Everything was delicious, but I am still thinking about that cheesecake.

Later, I headed to Armonk Square for the Armonk Has Heart launch for the Armonk Outdoor Art Show. We sponsored a heart this year, and you can find it at La Mer Seafood in Armonk. 💜

And then… home. No video for 8 PM 😂 I’m usually in bed by 9, so I'm winding down and relaxing with family at that time!

I think sometimes we wear “doing it all” like a badge of honor in entrepreneurship, and I have absolutely no interest in winning that award. 😂

Give me the systems. Give me the automation. Give me the people who are better at something than I am. If it gives me more time to focus on the work I actually want to be doing, I'm all for it.

Of course, there are seasons of business where the budget says, “Congrats, you're still doing that yourself.” Been there. Currently there in some areas. 😅 But the goal isn't to prove how much I can carry.

I want to build a business that eventually gives me more time, more freedom, and more room to actually enjoy the life I'm working so hard to create.

Wanting your business to feel easier doesn't mean you aren't grateful for it. Sometimes it just means you're ready for the next version of it.

And if social media is one of those things you're still holding onto even though you KNOW you'd love to hand it off, maybe this is your sign. 💜
