We love the work we do, and we are even more grateful for the people we get to do it with!

As we prepare for next week’s professional image development workshop, I’m reminded that a meaningful participant experience is never created in the room alone. It takes hours of planning, coordinating, styling, preparing materials, refining activities, managing logistics, and making sure every detail supports the larger goal.

The goal is not simply to deliver information. It is to create an experience that keeps participants engaged, gives them practical tools they can use immediately, and leaves them with clear next steps to support their professional success.

None of that happens without a team that brings the same care, energy, and positive spirit to the work.

I’m incredibly grateful for this fabulous team and everything they are contributing behind the scenes. I can’t wait to see all of the preparation come to life next week!

The first model fitting is officially underway for an upcoming Professional Image Development Workshop, and this is where the teaching begins long before participants enter the room.

One of the concepts we’ll explore is professional dress codes, not as a rigid set of rules, but as a framework for understanding context, audience, expectations, and intention.

The goal isn’t to teach professionals to all look the same. It’s to give them the knowledge to make informed decisions about how they want to show up, while still maintaining their individuality and personal brand.

The models will help bring those concepts to life, allowing participants to see how professional dress can shift across different settings and levels of formality.

People often see the final campaign. They rarely see what it takes to create it.

A successful brand photoshoot is never about one person. It’s the result of designers, photographers, hair and makeup artists, models, and stylists working together toward a shared vision.

As a personal brand stylist, my role is to bridge the gap between the brand’s message and what the audience ultimately sees. Every garment, accessory, proportion, and look is selected with intention so the final images communicate the right story, not just beautiful clothing.

That benefits everyone.

The designer’s craftsmanship is showcased thoughtfully. The photographer captures cohesive, compelling imagery. The models feel confident in what they’re wearing. Most importantly, the audience immediately understands the brand’s identity and values.

Yesterday’s photoshoot with Heritage Collection by Ash was a perfect example of what happens when talented professionals come together with purpose.

Thank you, Heritage Collection for bringing together such an incredible team to celebrate artistry, collaboration, and storytelling. These are the projects that remind me why I love what I do.

Sometimes the smallest wardrobe addition makes the biggest difference.

A faux collar, also known as a dickey, can instantly add structure, polish, and visual interest to a simple sweater, blazer, or dress without the bulk of another full layer.

It is a smart way to expand your wardrobe, refresh familiar pieces, and create a more intentional look with minimal effort.

Great style is not always about owning more. It is about knowing how to use what you have more strategically.

High-achieving women are often very good at optimizing everything, our calendars, our careers, our homes, and even our wardrobes. At some point, though, constant optimization can become its own form of noise.

Sometimes stepping away long enough to try on three trench coats, notice what feels right, and make a decision without rushing isn’t frivolous. It’s necessary.

There is a particular pressure that comes with being highly capable. You become the person who answers, decides, solves, responds, and keeps things moving. Eventually, even the choices that are supposed to be personal can start to feel like another item on the list.

That’s one reason I see image development as something deeper than clothes. Your wardrobe is one of the places where your internal evolution becomes visible. The question isn’t simply, “Which trench coat is best?” It’s also, “What feels aligned with the woman I am now?”

Image is communication, but intentional communication requires enough space to hear yourself first. Taking a break isn’t always stepping away from progress. Sometimes it creates the clarity required for it, and yes, sometimes that means letting the calls and emails wait while you decide between gabardine, nylon, and cotton. 😉

One of the reasons I find this work so meaningful is because of the people it brings into my life.

This photoshoot wasn’t just about creating great imagery, it was in support of the distinguished Gentleman's Ride , a movement that brings people together to raise awareness for men’s mental health and prostate cancer research.

It was an honor to contribute my expertise alongside such a talented and passionate team, all working toward a purpose greater than ourselves.

Moments like these remind me that image is about more than what we wear. It’s about using our skills, creativity, and presence to support meaningful causes and bring communities together.

Thank you to Jose Aspillera • Photographer, Fulton Moto, and the entire team for welcoming me into this project. I had an incredible time collaborating with such talented professionals, and I’m grateful to have played a small part in supporting a cause that makes a real difference.
