I have missed ‘dressing’. It was the hardest thing about the pandemic for me. I love fashion and putting outfits together. During the last few years events have been limited and we’re just now getting back to social activities and man am I happy!

Some of you are probably thinking, really?! You missed putting outfits together?! Yes, yes I did. Ha! It brings me so much joy and makes me so happy! I love helping others do it just as much too!

Yesterday was my future sister in laws bridal shower. I knew I wanted something bright and fun because she appreciates fashion. This dress is bold but I wanted to keep the color going so paired and dramatic earring, but since it is all about balance I pulled my hair up. This makes it so the earrings and shoulder detail could stand out. The shoes I kept neutral because those don’t need much and then had a slightly distressed jean jacket to play off the femininity of the dress.

This past weekend was one of those fill your soul with all the goodness kind of weekends. The weekends where you take a deep breath in, laugh out loud, hug a little tighter and smile big because you know of all the happiness and goodness yet to come.

These pictures are just a sliver of the highlights of the weekend and the women who made it so special. I’m not as active with stella as I once was 7.5 years ago but my goodness the impact is still just as great. I am so excited for the future and how I can help the women around me feel the best they possibly can feel with Effortlessly InStyle and the accessories of Stella & Dot! We all deserve to feel amazing.

My goal is to start showing up here more! It’s been a funky 2 years for someone who lives for and loves style and outfit planning. I’m ready for the excuse to get back into my closet (and yours! I’m starting to do more closet edits again! 😍) and will share along the way!

Flash back to last Saturday night where I had the excuse to put on a pair of heals again and celebrate my brothers engagement!

There isn’t much of a difference in these pics (swipe to see what I’m talking about) but the addition of a belt, lipstick and bracelets with a pop of color takes it from being clothes to a complete outfit!
