Starting a business from scratch can be hard.

So today, I just want to encourage all my friends who are building something from the ground up…

❤️ Keep adding value.
💡 Solve real problems.
🧭 Always lead with why.

Building a brand is a lot like growing a farm. It takes time, consistency, and faith.

First, you prepare the soil. Then you plant the seeds. You water them. Give them sunlight. Feed them nutrients. Pull the weeds. Protect the crops. Prune what’s no longer serving you.

And then…

You wait.

Just like you can’t rush the harvest, you can’t rush a customer to buy. Marketing happens on their timeline, not ours.

Our job is simply to keep showing up, keep serving others well, and trust the process.

For me, that also means trusting God with the outcome. I can plant the seeds and do the work, but He’s the one who brings the growth.

So if you’re in that season where it feels like you’re doing everything right, wondering if anyone even notices…

Keep going.

I used to be the shy girl who wanted to disappear in a room.

This week, I stood in front of a room full of powerful women and used my voice to teach, encourage, and inspire.

That alone felt like a dream come true.

But having my son in the front row made it even more meaningful. 💛

He didn’t just see me give a presentation.

He saw proof that people can grow.

That fear doesn’t get to write the whole story.

That confidence can be built.

That dreams can become assignments.

My talk was about AI, ChatGPT, and how these tools can help us move past the excuses that keep us stuck.

But the deeper message was possibility.

AI isn’t the hero.

We are.

And this week, I got to live one of my dreams: using my voice to help others dream bigger.

Little shy Laura would not believe this life.

But I think she’d be proud. 💛
