This is what it looks like when women lift each other up. 💛

So honored to receive a scholarship from Professional Women of Williamson County—an organization that has been serving our community for 20 years and helping women grow, lead, and pay it forward.

I was awarded this scholarship to continue my education in AI because I’m committed to staying on the cutting edge—so I can better serve the local business community I care so much about.

Grateful to celebrate alongside my BNI family members — Tori Clark and Megan Mills, and so thankful to the PWOW board and members for honoring me with this award today.

Learning, growing, and bringing it back home to serve. ✨

Grateful for my team! Just missing Terry and Brooke!

Thank you, God, for helping me to grow into the woman you wanted me to become.

It wasn’t easy, but it was worth it. 🥰

It was truly an honor to share a TED-style talk this week with the N2 veterans at the “Legacies Retreat” in San Diego.

I shared a message called “The Silent Threat to Beloved Local Brands.”

What meant the most to me wasn’t just delivering the talk, it was what happened after.

So many Area Directors came up and asked for the recording or transcript because they wanted to use the message with their own clients. And that’s when it really hit me...

When we equip each other with the right message, we don’t just grow individually, we extend our impact into communities all across the country. That’s the kind of work that matters to me: using my voice to help others serve their communities more effectively.

Here are 3 takeaways from the message that resonated most:

1. Growth doesn’t increase awareness… it resets it.
Every new family moving into a community starts from zero. The most trusted businesses are unknown to them unless they are intentionally introduced.

2. The “new mover window” is small—but powerful.
When people move, they’re not just unpacking, they’re choosing who to trust. And once those decisions are made, they tend to stick.

3. The biggest threat isn’t competition—it’s invisibility.
Even the most beloved local businesses can become invisible over time if they don’t have a system to stay seen by new residents.

I’m so grateful for the opportunity to share this message, and even more grateful that it sparked clarity and conversation for others.
Because when we help local businesses stay visible and trusted, we’re not just growing businesses… we’re strengthening communities.

Right now, people are more skeptical than ever.

With AI, fake reviews, fake news, fake photos, and even fake videos… it’s getting harder to know what’s real.

So what do consumers do?

They question everything.
They take longer to decide.
They choose more carefully.

And for a business owner, that can quietly slow down your growth—because trust has become harder to earn.

So the real question is:

👉 How do you grow your business in a trust recession?

That’s exactly what we’ll be talking about at the Georgetown Chamber Marketing Program on Monday, April 6th from 1–2 p.m.

This will be a mastermind-style conversation about what we can do as business owners to:
• Send real trust signals to our community
• Show up in a way that builds credibility, not skepticism
• And communicate to AI and search engines that we are trusted local resources—not solicitors

If you’re a local business owner navigating a noisy, uncertain landscape… this is a conversation worth being part of.

Visit the website to register, bring a friend, and come ready to think a little differently about your marketing.

We’d love to have you in the room 🤍

There’s something really special about getting to link arms with people who love this community as much as you do. 💛

Spending time with Tammey Stokely — President of the and a true force behind the scenes of Georgetown — always reminds me why this work matters so much.

Tammey pours her heart into supporting our local businesses and creating a vibrant, thriving downtown… and it’s such an honor to come alongside her in that mission. 🤝

Together, through and the Downtown Georgetown Association, we’re doing something bigger than any one effort alone…

We’re welcoming new families.
We’re connecting locals to trusted resources and brands.
We’re supporting local charities.
And most importantly, we’re championing the small businesses like that make up the very fabric of this community. 🌿

All of it with one shared goal: to help Georgetown continue to flourish — in a way that feels connected, supported, and deeply rooted in what makes this place so special. ✨

Grateful for partnerships like this.
Grateful for this town.
And so grateful to do this work alongside women who lead with heart. 💫
