New product:

I'm now offering rc car stands. They are roughly 72mm or 2 13/16in in height with a rotating top. They come with rubber grips both top and bottom to prevent the stand from sliding around your pits and to keep your car from sliding around on the stand. The bottom features 8 trays to store screws or other parts to help prevent them from being lost.

The price is $20 per stand.

Update on the 1/10th scale rc car headers:

I've ordered some nylon filament to make headers out of, it should make them considerably stronger than the PLA I have been using so should be less likely to break in the event of a crash. It is a more expensive filament so the nylon headers will be $15 a pair instead of the $10 of the PLA headers. The nylon is only available in black so if you want colored headers you will have to stick to the PLA.

Also, an update I made a while ago but haven't posted about is that I added a manifold onto the headers that connects all 4 pipes at body so stress is spread to all pipes rather than just the front and back pipes. This also makes it easier to mount as the holes now line up with the pre-drilled holes on customworks body panels.

After adjusting some print settings I've been able to improve the finish on my 1/10 sprint car headers so they no longer have a rough surface on the bottom side of the rear pipe. The pictures show what my most recent pair look like.

Price is $10 a pair plus $5 shipping, I can do almost any color.

Finished up with designing, printing and then painting some shotgun ammo pickups from the Borderlands game series.

Originally printed in polymaker white pla then painted with some acrylic paint and then clear coated to protect it. I have a few more ammo types printed, just need to paint get around to painting them.
