🔥 Fire Pit Nights 🔥

There’s just something special about ending the evening outside around the fire with Sophia and Jay. We sat there talking, listening to the fire crackle, and turned it into a fun little campfire pastry night that felt so simple and cozy. Those are the kinds of moments that always end up meaning the most to me.

I loved how easy the roasting handle made everything so we could relax and enjoy it instead of worrying about the food slipping around. Between the warm fire, sweet treats, and Charlie hanging around hoping for a bite, it turned into one of those backyard nights I never want to rush through. 🐾🔥

There’s just something about pulling an old family recipe out of a church cookbook that makes a meal feel extra special 💛 This Chicken Chilies Casserole from Aunt Deb has been one of those recipes I keep coming back to because it’s simple, cozy, and always disappears fast at our house.

Happy Memorial Day Weekend, friends ❤️🤍💙

Today we took time to recognize the sacrifice that so many service members made for our freedom. I’m thankful for the men and women who gave so much for this country and for the families who carry those sacrifices every day.

Dad preached this morning from Hebrews 11 and reminded us that the men and women mentioned in that chapter are heroes to every believer — people who walked by faith and trusted God through every season.

This video is a song we sang recently called “Foretaste of Heaven,” and it felt especially fitting on my heart today. 💛

I had so much fun making this one because you can truly make it your own! I used peach preserves this time, but I keep thinking raspberry, blackberry, strawberry, or even red pepper jelly would be so good too 😍

I’m also already thinking about tweaking my House Seasoning a little with paprika and maybe some herbs for even more flavor 💛 What would you add?

This creamy dip is cozy, sweet, spicy, and perfect for sharing. I loved pulling everything together with my Beautiful hand mixer, cheese grater, and my favorite nesting bowls 😊
