Fonts matter. Don’t believe us? Imagine you received the 2nd slide above from someone you’re dating. How would you react? Would it leave you with an uneasy feeling? Would you consider breaking things off?

The 3rd slide shows the exact same message, but in a different font.

Do you feel differently about the message now? Does this version feel more like a sweet gesture than a threatening message?

The only change was the font, but as you can see, the results are drastically different. Fonts have the power to set the mood and define expectations. They shouldn’t be an afterthought. They should be a conscious part of your branding efforts.

Business has always been political.

Every decision a business makes, who it supports, how it sources, how it treats people, what it stands for (or stays silent on), communicates something.

May Day 2026 has been designated as a National Economic Day of Action, a day centered around workers, community, economic justice, and protecting democracy. Roll the Bones came to us with a big idea. They were bringing a new game store to Savannah. One with enough room for private game play and tournaments, something that was missing from the local gaming community.

The owner had a vision, and we were thrilled to help them bring it to life.

First, we built out the visual identity: the logos, mascots, fonts, illustrations, etc. Then, we set out to transform the retail space into something more.

The storefront graphics are designed to strategically hide and reveal the inside of the store. The large private gaming room is hidden away behind a castle, but retail products are visible beyond a low brick wall.

There are little surprises hidden throughout the inside of the store, too. Little doorways here, mascots running away with snacks there. Everywhere you look, you’re reminded of where you are, even if there’s not a logo in sight.

That’s the power of a cohesive brand.
