Revisiting photos from my Workshop-in-Residence at Mass MoCA. In between working on several other projects, I experimented with light and reflections in the boiler room following a few days of rain, playing with soft focus for an even more abstract quality.

A little first morning inspo from my recent Worshop-in-Residence at Mass MoCA. Water has played a big part in my work, and it appeared to provide me with some interesting shots. Worked on several ongoing projects during my week there, worked on a new project, and enjoyed shooting in and around the museum.

Knocked off a Giving Tuesday project for UA ahead of Thanksgiving. Used a square and horizontal format used across social media and email. Giving Tuesday logos can be easily customized to better reflect your brand. When doing projects like this, I like to use Photoshop templates to populate, name, and group layers in order to more easily make corrections and adjustments, keep the overall design consistent, and easily export assets. Finding a lot of inspiration between the covers of this book. I love the linen texture of the cover and the layout - the design debossed in black. Title and author to the right. Circles centered. I was immediately drawn to it and saw the circles as a record when I saw Rick Rubin’s name. But also see the circles as representing more than a record.

Experimented with Photoshop Beta's Generative Fill - began with a new file - nothing but the "white page". Selected areas to generate sand, bottle, wet sand, waves on the shore, and sky with a few clouds. Then I experimented with live Gaussian Blur. I'd rather be taking my own photos, but I can see adding AI to my work flow for some projects.
