Between stitching I’ve been developing a practice of water marbling- which involves manipulating paint on top of water and then capturing the design on paper and fabric. It is captivating as a practice. And now, I’m working on creating items with the papers and fabric. Here, then, are some newly matted photo frames. I think they’d make exquisite Christmas gifts. Maybe even with a black and white photo inside? They are not yet up in my Etsy shop: , but I’m working on it.

I can now show you the most recent custom bridal purse. I stitched the wedding crest the bride drew. She chose blue toile, which fits in beautifully with the fabric of the bridesmaid dresses. A secret message from the bride’s mother was stitched inside.
