Intentionally antiqued sign over a ghost sign at 👻 When they asked me to paint over the old American Redstart Furniture sign, I wanted to save it, rather than whitewash it. So we just added another layer on top. This building has so much history, at least three layers of signage under my lettering. Hopefully many years in the future, this sign will be a mystery palimpsest too! (And someone left their initials, so I added mine… I was tempted to put a fictitious date but decided that would be cruel to curious people later!) Inspired by throughout this process 😊
