Hopefully by now you realize that you should not just blindly click a link in an email, and always think twice about the legitimacy of it. Do you do the same thing with QR codes? QR codes are equally, if not more dangerous. They can contain malware, links to websites that gather your data without you knowing it, and even can be used for financial transactions. If you are not 100% sure about that QR code and the company presenting it, don't risk it.
